How it works

  1. Step 1

    Check

    Cited asks an answer engine the questions buyers ask about your kind of business in your city. It records whether you are mentioned or cited, and which sites are cited instead.

  2. Step 2

    Generate

    For each question where you are missing, it drafts an answer page from your own profile: a direct answer, supporting sections, an FAQ and schema markup.

  3. Step 3

    Gate

    Every draft is checked for substance, valid schema markup and unsafe HTML. Thin, stuffed or spammy pages are blocked with a reason for each problem.

  4. Step 4

    Review

    You approve or reject the pages that passed. Only approved pages can be downloaded and published.

Checks run through Gemini with Google Search grounding, the closest stand-in for Gemini and AI Overviews. ChatGPT and Perplexity are not queried directly yet.
